I am a licensed massage therapist and certified personal trainer. My journey to massage therapy began over 10 years ago when I became active in the fitness arena, writing exercise programing and teaching group fitness classes in Rutherford County, TN. Over the course of that time and on my own personal journey into wellness, I became fascinated with how beautifully designed the human body is and how each system of our bodies work in symphony. In 2018 I became a Level I & II Usui Tibetan Reiki Practitioner and in 2019 I became a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I enrolled in Massage Therapy School in 2019 at Cumberland Institute of Holistic Therapies in Brentwood, TN. My training focused on Swedish-Esalen Massage (the feel good, mushy squishy stuff), Kinesiology (body movement and muscle testing), Neuromuscular-Somatic Release (deeper work, usually associated with trigger points), and Acupressure (applying pressure to tiny points within our energy pathways). Which one is "best"? Well, it is my belief that all of them are! My style of bodywork or integrative massage therapy weaves techniques of multiple modalities, crafting a therapy session tailored to address your specific needs.
